Your first contact
When you contact us, our staff will discuss your requirements and give you as much information as is possible over the 'phone. Please remember that everyone's requirements are unique so if you'd like a cosmetic procedure, the only way forward is to arrange a consultation with one of our surgeons.
Arranging a consultation with one of our surgeons
We do not believe in offering consultations with non-qualified surgeons (nurse counsellors, hard-sell salespeople, etc.). ONLY an experienced operating surgeon can tell you with any degree of accuracy regarding the likely outcome of your surgery as well as all the necessary information you require.
Your consultation
At your consultation our surgeon will initially ask about your medical history before enquiring about your intended procedure and reasons why you think you need surgery. Once the surgeon has examined you, and considers that surgery will benefit you, he will give you a detailed explanation of the procedure as well as the possible outcome, risks involved and the usual course of post operative events. Bring with you a list of any questions you may have so you don't forget to ask.
Admission to hospital
Once a date for your surgery has been arranged, you will be sent an information pack which includes pre-operative instructions and detailed information about your procedure as discussed at your consultation. You will be admitted on the day of surgery. Your surgeon will visit you before your operation to answer any final queries you may have and take preoperative photo's.
Your operation
You will be informed of the approximate time of your operation on admission to hospital. The surgeon and his team as well as the theatre and nursing staff will work together to give you the best possible outcome and make your stay with us a happy and pleasant one.
Post operative follow-up
On discharge from hospital you will be given post operative instructions and medication to take as well as a follow up appointment which you must keep. The Centre offers two years follow up with the surgeon at no extra cost.
Cost involved and settling your account
Usually, you will be offered an overall fixed package fee, depending on the procedure you are having. Any outstanding balance must be paid in full before surgery.
